after yesterday's day of fresh north east light and sea breezes, a day spent behind a computer arranging next week's trip.

we thought it was snow but turned out to be slush. 5 mins down the road to the underground station on the way to school and carpet biter 2 had cold wet feet (he was whinging so loudly and persistently and i was so busy trying to cajole him that i failed to realise that his trousers had worked his way down round his knees as well) so we turned round, wellied-up and went in the car.

cheered ourselves up with a pre-bath fancy dress disco which was great until the inevitable tired tears
