Blue is the colour

This will be the 1st of many over the next couple of weeks and I make no excuse for blipping them. Took a short walk out onto Darwen Moors today with a view to having a go at finding the Green Hairstreaks on the Bilberry. No luck at all but judging by the number of flowers the bilberry crop could be bumper this July- August.

Bluebells are extra special to me and Mrs Wild. No 1 son, Cal, was born at Bluebell time and we make a point of trying to visit as many of our Bluebell haunts as possible.

Finished off sat in the garden with a BBQ and beer.and then got down to the serious business of booking Durham University open days for Cal. It is scary stuff and will be the 1st of a good few visits this summer.
