Turtles

Our friends Bob and Shannon from Seattle volunteered to take us to the airport for our flight to LAX, but first they took us to their stepfather?s house at Playa Blanca. The caretaker of the house next door to their home on the beach collects turtles to release in the evenings when they stand a better chance of survival. To keep them alive in the interim, he places the hatchlings in a pool of seawater which is where I took this photo of the soon to be released turtles swimming around.
