Shoring Up
As luck would have it the second hand building supplies was open today, even though it is a public holiday. I found a beautiful hardwood beam and some guttering. The beam as you can see is to support the roof which I rather under engineered when I build Ramshackle last year. It was sagging a bit, not enough to fall down but enough to annoy me.
Well, I solved that problem today and while I was there I put in some gutter. Next weekend (yet another long one!) I will finish off the gutter and put a downpipe in.
All in all it has been a productive day. It wasn't my intention to fix up Ramshackle, even after I bought the wood but after I made a start there was no point in stopping.
