The Freebie...

This blip would, up until the new scottish government abolished the bridge toll about a month ago, have cost me £1 as I'd have to go through the tolls to get back home. I thought I'd do this just because I can.

The new toll booths cost around £5million to construct, they were due to implement a new prepay, electronic tag system to speed them up and word on the street says, they were built in the wrong position. Now all the booths have been pulled down and the canopy (which is apparently up for some contemorary design award or something) is due to be sold off as scrap metal.

The locals think it a bit of an eye sore and where if I lived next door to them, I'd agree but I do kinda like driving through them.
