Strike!!!!!!

Today's weather has been strange. Actually this has been a strange Spring altogether. It started out sprinkling, but Gary's Annual Golf Tournament he runs ended up a success because the rain stopped early on and the sun came out. Although he says he played the worse he's ever played, any day on the golf course comes few and far between for him so it really is a good day for him, regardless of a good score or not.

Loren ended up staying home in bed all day feeling really run down, stomach ache, nausea, etc. He actually slept until noon! He never does that, so that's how I knew he didn't feel well, besides the fact that he didn't feel like eating.

After school I took Liam to his baseball game. This was his most exciting game so far. It was against the Angels and we started out winning, then they caught up and passed us by 2 runs, then Liam hit a single and brought in two runners to tie the game in the final inning. His friend Carlos went up to bat to bring in 2 more runners to win the game. It was definitely a roller coaster type of a game, lasting until dark and up to bedtime. Naturally the night before STAR (State) testing begins! Liam made us so proud tonight. They put him in as pitcher in the last couple of innings and he struck out several players, made a single AND a double tonight. He was on Cloud 9.
