Well done

WEll she did it! Yuongest daughter as part of her college course was to organise an event so she decided to do a fundraiser to help kids in a school for the blind in Sri Lanka. Though it was mid week and they had to compete with a football match, and though the numbers were not as high as she would have liked which is a pity because PA herself turned Heaven & earth upside down last week to get a PA system from Oban to Glasgow to help one of her fellow class mates with their event, did they bother to turn up at hers? Well to Hell with them because after raiding every shop in Argyll for raffle prizes and having a throw the money at the bottles, all in all she raised the magic £400 needed to provide thses kids with an entire years musical tuition. I am very very proud of her.
She was ably assisted by a young band who came all the way from Oban for no fee and who played their socks of. Well done these youngsters which is more than can be said for many of the older musicians that were also invited. There seems to me a lot of Im all right Jack & to Hell with everyone else, however I am proud to say that all my three grown up kids were there helping and joing in.

Go PA you did well and so too did the band Ceol an Aire, they are a great bunch of lads and still just teenagers and in their final year at High School. Now thats dedication.
