Royal icing?

Like schools up and down the country, my children's one has spent this week doing all sorts of things related to tomorrow's Big Day. On Wednesday the vicar conducted a mock wedding during assembly (I'm assured the children involved are not actually now really married!), they've decorated commemorative plates and today they all dressed up and had a 'street party' in the playground.

Every child in the school contributed to this gi-normous cake which, though not edible, was still pretty impressive!
