Can cats knock?

My daughter has been complaining for a few days that something's been knocking on her bedroom window, trying to get in.

I thought maybe she'd just watched too much Scooby Doo but this morning when I opened her curtains, there was our cat Daisy sitting on the low roof just outside the window!

Hmmmmmm.....?!?
