Unlike yesterday's blip, these boots are actually someone else's. I believe they were given to my mom by her sister before I decided to exit her womb. I tried them on when I visited home last weekend and returned to my apartment later that afternoon wearing them.

For some reason I love wearing/using things that were my mom's when she was younger (I also love taking pictures with her old cameras!). I guess it's because I hope I can one day be like her. She's so selfless, always thinking of others and sacrificing so much for my happiness. I can't imagine myself being that selfless and strong and I wish I was. These are definitely words to stand by...
