Hand-me-downs

This skirt has a long story attached to it. It's a happy story.

The legs sticking out of it don't belong to its original owner.

It's not the first time this skirt has been worn with sparkly shoes on the wrong feet.

The sparkly shoes belong to someone else who once wore the skirt.

I never wore shoes with it.
