Unknown pleasures
Weekends are dictated by weekdays unfortunately, well they certainly are round here. But these tend to go well when the sun is out and it was today accompanied by blustery easterly winds, a perfect day for washing clothes. Pity then that we managed to kill off that task earlier in the week. I did however manage to spend a large part of the day in the garden, much of it watching the #1son. These are the moments of discovery that once passed you cannot get back, recently we have discovered how much we like kicking a football with a left foot, still picking stuff up with a right hand though.
A couple of exciting repairs done around the house, back to the exciting routine of taxi driving children round, an unexpected visit from #1son's GodMother, and tonight off to see a concert with EcoDad. First time I saw Peter Hook in concert was, 11 Apr 1983. It was a landmark gig I have to say, we'll see what tonight's trip down memory lane will be like. Must dash to get the trench coat and creepers on.
Had the unknown pleasure of having about forty bewildered car drivers watching me taking this photo, lying on my back.
