...Her name was on his lips......

Azalea.

A flower for jkj10.

Wild and windy day today, beautiful sunshine but a gusty, biting cold wind.

As per usual, got up early, called at McD for a breakfast bagel and went to the tackle shop for bait.

First match of the Summer League tomorrow, big commercial fishery near Blackpool, 80+ miles round trip. Special baits required...obviously some maggots (never go without them just in case all else fails), sweetcorn, tiger pellets, halibut pellets, diced pork luncheon meat, diced pork luncheon meat flavoured with garlic and All Spice.......and I might just get some prawns tomorrow morning on the way there.

Meeting at 7.00p.m..... drive to the venue...... full English breakfast....draw for pegs...1 hour prep time....5 hour match....drive back....coffee at Shaun's... home....shower....prepare dinner for me and the Daughter (the Boss is at work 7.30 until 8.00).....out for a beer and a game of crib with D....where did the day go?

Bank Holiday on Monday and that's it ...holiday over...back to work..run up to the end of the school year.

If I catch anything decent tomorrow, I might blip it, otherwise it'll probably just be another lake scene.

Das vidanya moy padruga.
