Art in Bloom at the MIA

It was another rainy, gray spring day. Annie's softball tournament scheduled for today was canceled, leaving me with some free time. After stopping by Rachel's apartment I ran across the street to the MIA to browse through the Art in Bloom exhibit at the museum. There were so many beautiful and fragrant arrangements placed alongside the pieces of art it was hard to decide which photo to post. I was amazed at how some floral arrangements perfectly captured the colors in the paintings they accompanied. This one in particular caught my eye. I love the way the three calla lilies mimic the 3 figures in the sculpture.
