Doorway

Late start and a gentle wander through Chartres, with its very impressive medieval Cathedral. Mass was being said for the last Pope, so standing around gawping at the interior didn't seem appropriate - though plenty of folk were.

Breakfast, then a quick peek at a vintage car rally and we were on the road again. Tonight we'll be at our friends' in Castres, trying to fend off the inebitable whiny requests from our kids for one of their guinea pigs - born this morning.
