Happy Beltane.....
.....the absence of the prevailing south westerly wind last night meant we weren't 'entertained' by the deep boom of pagan drums from the 'posh green body painted students pretending to worship juniper bushes dancing naked' party on Calton Hill; otherwise known as The Beltane. Phew, there's only so many young naked woman doing sexually charged fertility dances I can ignore when trying to get to sleep on 30th April.
Another cracking weather day encouraged us to take a stroll around Lauriston Castle gardens, enjoy cucumber sandwiches (sans crusts of course) and then take a wee drive into the centre ville for a stroll around Lady Findhorn's estate with Nancy on her study break; sharing it with 3000 students who should be inside studying, not getting pissed on cider and smoking joints....I fought a war for them you know.
Just settling down now to watch The Spiderwick Chronicles with Owen. All's well.
