Lacock Abbey
For May Day, a remnant of the ancient Beltane festival that marked the mid point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, I decided to do something very English. I visited my nearest National Trust property, Lacock Abbey.
One of the traditions of May Day is the May Bough so I thought this verdant view of the south wall of the abbey would suit.
