Africa in my cupboard

What is this? Can you guess? It is a beautifully etched drinking glass - one of a set of six - that (Mum correct me if I am wrong) my parents got as a wedding present when married in Nairobi, Kenya in the late 1950s. There is the elephant, a rhino, a lion, a buffalo, a giraffe and an antelope. I can't remember the name of the company that made them (again I ask my mum!) but I know it is something & something.

I took it with the light from the kitchen behind to look like the moon.

Mum gave me these a while back (before the September quake) and between that event and the Feb quake, all her china and breakables were smashed. I still had them packed up as we moved house late Jan. I have put them out this weekend which I hope is not tempting fate but I want to see them not have them packed in a box.
