Dappled light
Bright sunshine and blue sky despite a fresh and gusty North-Easter. The sunlight is spattering through the cherry-plum tree and casting its magic on surfaces hard and soft.
The ivy is sheltered and so, unlike the tree, not thrashing around. Hence the ivy and the wall are sharp but the shadows on them are not.
** Have just realised that this pic rhymes visually with yesterday's ... but with a volta **
The dog didn't understand any of that.
