Good Morning Sunshine

We had the most incredible weather today!! I got up at 6:30 and took the boys for a hike up into the hills on the farm. We were greeted by clear blue skies and sunshine... something we haven't really seen that much of lately!

This morning's hike was the first of several spontaneous strolls that took place throughout the course of the day. We went down to the river, where the dogs had a swim... up into the "woodlands" where it's almost more rainforest than farm... down past the farmhouse with it's steep hill leading up to the other units. The dogs are dead on their feet, but unwilling to admit defeat and go to sleep!

Tonight we had a magnificent thunderstorm just before dinner, followed by a hailstorm, which left a bit of a nip in the air... perfect weather for a good night's rest:)
