Ice ice baby

After extensive reading of weather forecasts from the internet and discussing by phone woth some other skier crews at the area we decided to end our trip even we still had three days reserved for skiing. The snow conditions were getting only worse and returning home and spend some time with the family seemed like a good option for us all.

So we packed our stuff and headed to Finland. On our way we stopped at the Hotel Kilpisjärvi near mountain Saana. The hotel has a good (and cheap) beach sauna at one mountain lake, so we washed ourselves properly and did some ice swimming as well as warmed ourselves at the sauna. The whole thing felt like million dollars after sweating at the mountains and staying in lousy cottages with poor showers.
