...and relax.

A lazy day! We didn't go into town until late afternoon - choosing instead to make use of our verandah complete with sun-loungers, until the clouds covered up the sun and made us head for the indoor pool instead. We found a bar that I'd read about and that we'd spotted from the city walls on Monday. Built in to the rocks it has a magnificent view of the Adriatic and the nearby island of Lokrum but we got there just in time for last orders - having faffed around taking more photos, on our way to find it. It was getting cold anyway and so we then traipsed about the lovely little lanes until we found a pizzeria called Oliva, that was listed in the edition of 'Dubrovnik in your pocket' that we had armed ourselves with on arrival. Washed down with a very nice half-litre of Croatian red, we were done in (a strenuous day!) and so retired for a fairly early night.

This was taken just off the Stradun. I think it's a theatre.
