Meet the neighbours

As I have mentioned once or twice before I often spend many hours at a sound desk mixing shows and trying the get the cast to shut up long enough to do proper mic checks. I am far from alone in this as there is a huge team of techies beavering away getting mics, lighting, props etc all sorted. Its good fun most of the time although sadly, if we get it right, then no one ever notices us.

This is Pat, my neighbour for tonight on the Lighting desk.

I got some nice shots of the show but . . . rules and all that.

As I started getting things ready after lunch, have hardly had a break since and and its now 10-15pm, Its time for a long sleep now.
