Mother's Day
Drove up to London today to see PhotoJENic. We walked to Coloumbia Road Flower Market. I've wanted to go there for sometime and I wasn't disappointed. It was very colourful and busy with lots of interesting shops. We had a coffee and some carrot cake.
We then walked to Brick Lane and had a good mooch round followed by a curry. Then it was off to Spitlefields where PhotoJENic bought a top to wear to her flat-warming party next week. I bought a ceramic coaster with a pylon on it. Those who know me will know the significance of this!
It was then back to PhotoJENic's flat where I put up her curtain pole, mirror and a picture.
Drove back to Watford Junction just in time to say goodbye to Daughter No. 2 who was returning to Uni. Then called in to see my mum to check that she hadn't eaten all the coconut ice yet.
It's been a busy but lovely weekend. Both daughters made me Mother's Day cards and gave me presents. I am very lucky. Thank you girls.
