Free the Twickenham One
Up, and to the Radnor Gardens in Twickenham, on the banks of the River Thames. I spent some time throwing the ball for Boo. As she brings it back perhaps only 50% of the time, it meant I got a lot of exercise also.
Boo made friends with Digby; so I got to make friends with Digby's walker, an English language student from the Czech Republic called Iveta.
We made the mistake of trying to sit down for a coffee to talk of cabbages and kings, and the correct English word for the elephant's nose. But at eight months, Digby is just too bouncy and energetic to sit still at all.
In the course of his syncopations around, through, over and under the coffee table and chairs, and while we were distracted as we sought to save our coffees from spilling, he managed to chew right through the lead keeping Boo tethered to the table leg.
Perhaps he felt I had imprisoned her without just cause.
