Deer in the forest

Took a fabulous long walk in Mugdock Country Park today and startled two deer. Not in focus but had to be quick.
This place is dear to my heart as we used to go often when I was a small child, back in the day when it seemed my father was the only one who knew about it and we called it Mugdock Bank. We parked up a wee track and carried the picninc stuff over a field to "our" spot.
I roamed free and loved it. No visitor centre, craft shop, cafe, adventure playground, walled garden and barbeques back then.
Anyway, great day and my 10,803 steps today will help us at work on our European walking challenge-must check tomorrow how far we have got!
