"Deeds not words"
A Gude cause makes a strong arm
Suffragette - originally a derogatory label for members of the late 19th century women's suffrage movement. However, active members began to reclaim the word and the term became a label without negative connotations.
It derives from the word "suffrage", meaning the right to vote.
This morning Alex accompanied me to the polling station where I cast my vote alongside some MEN. Nobody seemed to notice as she sneeked her fluffy handcufffs out and chained herself to the railing outside.
Thankfully I had a spare set of keys which saved calling out the busy firemen. I'm going to have to keep my eye on this little monkey!
