Energy City

These pylons come from the New Plymouth power station down at Port Taranaki, hence New Plymouth's nickname "Energy City".

I went looking for surf down the coast today but I gave up due to a lack of any decent sized waves. I eventually ended up surfing at Back Beach which is situated about a kilometre south of where this photograph was taken.
