Smiles for Mummy

I don't know when babies smile and i know people say 'it's just wind' but i am sure amelia was smiling at me today. I was holding her close to my face and smiling and she was copying me. It just melted my heart and from that moment i knew i loved her BIG much !!!! People think that when you have a baby you fall in love instantly as soon as they arrive and i am not afraid to say that although that when they are born you have a major bond it takes a few days to fall in love.
Their are so many emotions going through your mind after childbirth: what the hell have i done ? Ouch my body hurts, why did i do that to myself? etc, etc. This picture for me captures the moment i fell in love with my little girl !!!

So pleased i gave up breastfeeding, i feel so much better about it all. feeding from the bottle is going great and she is a little guzzler taking 3-4 oz every 3-4 hours. Bringing up her wind well too.
