Off to vote.

Spoke to the present councillor outside the Town Hall, who was very worried that he would be obliterated as he only had a 90 majority last time. We'll all have to wait until tomorrow to see what the 23% of his ward who bother to vote have to say about him.

I think I may have said to him (in the best possible taste) that he should see it less of a disaster, but more an opportunity for him to do something else with his time.

Not sure he saw it that way.
