Extremely erratic network. Opening one journal displays only a black page of the photographs which takes ages to transform into its form and content. Uploading never worked all throughout the night. Worked the other day i.e. at dawn when the cyber traffic is nearly empty (everybody else going to sleep etc.). At this rate, had no alternative but to quit uploading until situation improves.

These are smoking pipes called HIDAK-FU. One earthen funnel shaped 'Ngan-thak' will be fixed on top of the wooden towers which are drilled down to the coconut base which is filled with water (to filter the smoke) and a hole to suck the smoke from the burning tobacco placed on top. The sound of from the smoking process is a peculiar Pu-druk Pu-druk with a sweet smelling from the smoke. In olden days these are common sights in every household where the elderly only are privileged access to it. Nowadays, they are rapidly vanishing from the modern houses.
