Bee with indigo
I think this might be the best flower in my garden, at least this time of year it is. The combination of vibrant purple petal (yes, it has only one "deformed" petal) and even more vibrant orange anthers makes an astounding display. It is actually false indigo bush amorpha fructosa. I got it at the native plant nursery. Bees love it. And I could photograph it today without Mara's help since I am worried about her getting stung.
I am thankful for native plants, especially false indigo bush.
