Blue is the Colour

This is the first of my lovely irises to flower. I could see them developing, but didn't expect any to flower for another few days, so it was lovely to have this greet me this morning.

Work continued on the leylandii today - they've all gone! Yay! Next weekend, the fencing goes in, then we can really start getting the garden straight.

In the house, we've continued the clear up operation, the carpets have all now been cleaned with the wonderful RugDoctor, we really can't believe how much dirt was lurking in the carpets. They're drying as I type, so things can start returning to normal (whatever that means) tomorrow.

Back to work for a rest tomorrow!
