Great Adventure

A very excited F this morning: a whole week without Mummy and Daddy (and little H Meister). All the kids were very giggly with nervous excitement this morning. They have loads of stuff to look forward to during their week long residential. I can't wait to hear all about their adventures - will have to wait until the end of the week though because they aren't allowed to phone home, unless it is an emergency! :-/

All this means that H and I get to spend some quality father-son time together. He's off on his own trip tomorrow so we can forage for packed lunch ingredients after school this evening. I'm a bit jealous of all this gadding about - wish I could go on exciting school trips. I have fond memories of the ones I did go on...perhaps with the exception of the one to Pontins with Cubs the group bully slammed a door in my face...

Anyhoo...back to work...BOO!!
