All better!

Katie is utterly delighted that Monkey is back to his mudfree self. He's cleaner than usual but she can work on that. And has been trying very hard to sort it today.
We are looking after a friend's garden and rabbit whilst they holiday, so we went up today and spent an hour or so playing. Katie watered the plants. And the decking. And the slide. She begged over and over for more water as she lugged around a watering can nearly as big as her, rejecting the small people one. She spent a long time climbing, sliding, climbing, sliding on a tiny slide. Then decided Monkey should.
She was flat out within seconds of being in the pram to walk home, having had some lunch in the garden. I did a few jobs whilst she snoozed and then we headed out to see Tatiana and her mummy. Katie had a wonderful time with a vintage style dolls pram and a genuine antique doll (100 years old and they let it near a toddler, eek!) We had a bath and she was really excited to go splishsplash.
After being there, we drove to visit a nursery. It's in gorgeous woodland grounds, the children go every week to see the farm animals up the lane and Katie ran away to go play as soon as we went into the toddler room and the outside area. It was untidy, a bit messy but very very happy. After we'd been to the nursery, I took her to the nearby duck pond with a loaf of bread and then for an ice lolly in the beautiful sunshine. She said hello to a whole bunch of dogs and wanted stroke a goose who was there with its babies. I took her away from them!
Its absolutely throwing it down and there's a thunder&lighting storm. Katie's quite bemused by the whole thing. I'm going to get this posted before the power cuts out!
