starting the day

These women were walking past our camp one early morning as I was getting up. We actually had reasonably early starts, starting work each day between 7.00 and 7.30am, and I would rise usually about 5.30 to do yoga to start my day. These women had already been up and busy for at least an hour, and were headed, probably, to St Luce - a good two hour walk over alternately rough and sandy ground away - to buy or sell produce or wares.
