Tantallon Castle
This Scottish castle on the Firth of Forth was built in he 1350s. It was the stronghold of the Douglases. It withstood 3 seiges but the destruction caused by the by Oliver Cromwell's army in 1651 caused it to be abandoned. It's a great medieval castle now run by Historic Scotland.
