Flute

I worked from home today. The marking process has begun. I ordered a new cable from my laptop which was due to arrive today. The courier arrived at 7:20pm !
My daughter felt much better today. Her friend is on the flight to New Zealand as I type.
After school, my eldest daughter had an interview at the secondary school that she'll be attending in September. She was a little bit nervous. It was just a one-to-one chat with a senior member of the school.
When we got home, I dropped her off and picked up my youngest daughter so that we could go to the music shop down the road to hire a new flute. She has had her name down for flute lessons for donkeys and yesterday, she finally had her first lesson. She said that she really enjoyed it and wants to carry on --> hence the new flute. We also got a nice, purple stand.
Let's hope that she tries harder with this than she did with the cornet. She gave up on that very quickly.
It's SATS week for my eldest daughter this week. Maths tomorrow.....
