Rainbow

A couple of years ago, when I was going to Melbourne for a holiday, a friend of mine asked me to replace her 'rainbow' umbrella. She'd bought one in Melbourne a few years earlier and she'd recently lost it. I'd never seen one but thought what a great idea it was to try to cheer up a rainy day.

I tried every possibility in Melbourne but could not find such a thing anywhere. About this time last year I was in Christchurch for a course and walking through Cashel Mall I spotted a rack of cheap umbrellas. There, in the middle, was a rainbow one. So of course I tantrumed until they found me another one - because there's no way I was buying one for A without getting one for me too!

So here it is, cheering me up on a horrid rainy day.
