Home from Home

I appear to have backdated a blip - hurrah!! I have just spent three days in Kent where we had lived for the past 23 years of our lives! It was a lovely trip down memory lane and a chance to catch up with all the gossip with my friends!

This is The Royal Military Canal in Hythe. It was built to prevent Napoleon from invading our shores and it obviously worked bacause he didn't try it!! It was also one of my favourite places to walk.....and it still is!
