Coming through - don't try to stop us!
What a delightful walk we had today: 28 of us out in Geltsdale for a 10 mile walk. It was very relaxing, partly because the terrain was easy, and partly because Festival duties are over for a few months.
We were held up in this lane while the farmer moved a small flock of sheep and lambs from one field to another. He was ably assisted by his sheepdog who is deaf - amazing.
The sheep did not mow us down. As you might expect they lost their nerve as they came close to us and were then persuaded to go into a field on our left.
Hope to go to Geltsdale again soon.
