Parentheses of doom

sometimes good days can start with a bad thing and end with a bad thing. On a scale of 1-10 of bad things my bad things today score, of course, about -20 but I do like to make a bit of a drama out of things, just to spice life up.
Started the day around 6, as always, took Mr. Spitzi to the bus-stop (in car...not that you think he needs help crossing the road or somefink) and then got in the garden in an attempt to Get Things Done Before It Rains. It hasn't rained for AGES and I was so looking forward to it happening at last. Anyway, three hours into gardening (with small pause for breakfast and a bit of an earthworm hunt with Aïsha ((she now has a bucketful to take to school....))) it was time for Pilates...what a great combination! A Pilates class when already totally wiped out? Yes, what a good idea!
Anyway, forgot to write in the first bad thing...oops, am totally incoherant tonight...yes, that was watching the beautiful morning light appear, camera at the "ready", only to find a) battery empty and then after charging enough to get a few shots, b) card full. I did swear, I can assure you. Today's blip is taken in the moment between battery charged and card being full. So, appreciate it.
Blah blah, rest of day very busy, very nice too. Nice chat with someone, nice visit from someone else...which ended a bit late and was broken up by RAIN! Yay!! RAIN!!!
The late visit has left me doing late housework...cooking lunch for tomorrow (done) and making cakes for Flea to take to school tomorrow..cue second disaster...my silicone moulds (not boobs) have done me proud for years now but tonight, for some horrible reason, they decided not to give up the cakes but to keep bits of them stuck to the bottom. I swore then too. I'm getting good at it now. So, second batch of cakes in oven as I type, late night beckons. But at least the rainwaterbarrel is filling up. There is still some good in this world.......and it's worth fighting for Mr. Frodo.

p.s. yes, I do let out endless streams of nonsense and utter nonsense when tired, well spotted.
