Lost Shoe

Went for a cycle in between showers.

This old shoe was lying just beside the cycle path. Why is it you always find just one shoe? Why does nobody realise they have lost ONE shoe? By the looks of it it has been there, or thereabouts for quite some time. I am on this path a lot and have never seen it before.

As you can see the shoe was very wet so more wet knees, dirty jeans and a wet bum (was sitting on a log to take the shot.)

Back to reality and have to think about housework, meals, washing, gardening etc. etc.
