Super Cute

Walking around the university campus today was lovely. So many new babies in the sunshine.

Ended up with a difficult choice. The black coot sunning itself amongst the daisies, the swan splashing in the water, the swan eating the new shoots of the shrubs or the cygnets.

Not totally happy with this as I would have preferred a better depth of field but as daddy swan was close by I didn't want to fiddle too much with my camera. There were nine cygnets. A lot of mouths to be fed.

I might not get the chance to get as close again so I think that has had an influence on my decision.
