...When Iris sleeps.....

For jkj10 and Isabella.

There's been some sadness around this week, jkj10 and her daughter have lost a good friend in tragic circumstances, many of you have posted about a lovely lady called Molly, another blippper has lost a father in law, and yet another has lost a friend.

It puts things into perspective. I remember how supportive you all were when we lost a work colleague suddenly, and how many of you sent kind thoughts as my sister battled and won against cancer.

When I started this it was because hebs had bent my ear for a long time......I still don't think I'm much of a photographer and every day I see amazing images and wish I was half as good.........but, and here's the thing.......I feel a part of something............I feel I've made new friends.......even though I haven't met any of them ....yet!.........I feel valued and liked.........and I have something to do every day that takes me away from the humdrum.......so thank you all, everyone who's ever left a comment or just looked in, those who subscribe , and especially those of you who leave a message every day, messages that bring a tear, a smile, a real laugh, or make me think.

I always sign off with the Russian for "Until we meet again my friends" and I always mean it, but tonight it's different.
