Horse Trials

Today a different horse sport, much more my thing than flat racing. A friend and I spent the day as fence judges. It was nice to contribute to the running of the event, we were sustained through the day with breakfast,diner and several visits from the tea wagon and at the end of the day a bottle of wine to take home. Our fence a very large picnic table was trouble free for all competitors our day was spent watching each horse jump, recording its time and radioing it safe departure to control. Long, tiring but satisfying day :-)))))
