Urban rain forest
You can have too much of a good thing.
We've had more rain in Portland this spring than at any time in recorded history, and as a result the moss, mold, mildew, and leaf-hulls are just astonishing. The trees outside the window of my fifth-floor apartment have grown so tall and lush that I'm suffocating behind a WALL OF LEAVES. I no longer have any view at all except fluttering leaves. I thought about blipping the non-view, but it was just TOO BORING. I'm hoping to find another apartment soon; it's gloomy in here. But the trees are really happy and productive.
