Manic Monday

Back to work today after the weekend. Dropped Ethan at nursery as usual and he doesn't even bat an eyelid these days when I leave him! What a change to 2 months ago!

Busy day at work and then I discovered I'd left my lunch at home, so it was a brisk walk over to The Gyle at lunchtime to buy something. Very cold and windy outside but nice to get out the office for half an hour.

Hubbie picked Ethan up from nursery this evening so I popped to Morrisons to buy a few things. As I was driving back into our housing estate, I spied hubbie & Ethan standing at the entrance at the bottom of the hill! Having given Ethan his dinner, Ethan wanted to go outside, so hubbie took him for a walk. And kept on walking! Apparently Ethan had great fun pointing at all the cars whilst they waited for me!

Got back home and Ethan was very overtired and grumpy. Apparently he had only had a 40 minute nap at nursery and we were paying for it now. He did sit on my lap while we read books for a wee while and then he had a crawl through his tents and tunnel. However, he screamed blue murder when I tried to bath him, which is most unusual as he normally loves bath time no matter how tired he is. So we abandoned that and he fell asleep during his bottle of milk.

Loads for me to do now, starting with dinner for myself! One of these days I'll get the chance to catch up on commenting as I'm so behind with other peoples journals right now. Sorry everyone!
