Today was a much better day, counting my blessings (and there are many!)

Nice afternoon with the girls, We are so chuffed with all the feathered friends that are coming to the bird table. We get regular visits from a huge Magpie, a very distinguished Jackdaw, loads of house sparrows who are very cute and Evie's favourite a couple of Blue tits.

I'm not a twitcher but after I assembled the table, I popped it right outside the kitchen window and it's really addictive watching our feathered friends snacking.
The blip was going to be a pic of one of the Blue Tits (as you can see) but then I was chatting to SS about identifying the birds and he said those immortal lines "There's an app for that" and he was right, there is.

It's great, look up the birds, mark which ones you've spotted and load up your own photos. Ace app and great for me as I have no clue!

Not that we mind which birds come and join in the fun - we love watching them all!

in other news....

Yesterday was Blue, today not so much. Poured out all my troubled thoughts* in another place and got tea and empathy of the virtual kind.

(*as opposed to 'troubles' - because in the whole scheme of things I don't really have any!)

It's good to get it out and expose a feeling or two. That's why we are here ... and why you are here... right? No solutions, no problems magically solved just people sharing experiences and sharing life. We're in this together.
