Stellar Views

Today was a good day. I did get a bit irate at work and cross about equality of service to teens and the attitude to young people. Changing perceptions of young people is a hard slog sometimes but worth it in the end. We'll get there.

Had a nice surprise though - I thought I had lost out on some wardrobes on Freecycle a couple of days ago so thought no more about it. Turns out the person didn't turn up so I was next in line! And they even got delivered to me by a nice young couple who were moving house.

So! I have some lovely mirrored Ikea wardrobes for my girls - can't wait to get them assembled. The instruction book is 24 pages...but I am sure that I'll manage with a little help from my friends.

Glad to have my girls back tonight, After her bath, I showed Evie the newest iPad app. It's a star walk which shows you the stars you can currently see. She liked spotting the planets but loved spotting the different satellite's and the International Space Station even more!

Really looking forward to some clearer nights when we can use it in the garden and especially when we are by the sea in the summer.

So the blip is Evie, using her favourite app and surrounded by bits of mdf that will eventually be her wardrobe.
